Frequent Asked Questions
Feeling informed is part of feeling cared for. These questions are here to offer clarity around the Wild Rose experience, so you can feel supported in choosing what feels right for you.
In any of our Wild Rose 1:1 hands-on care offerings, you can expect to enter a space woven with care and intention, with an altar of crystals, oils, and energetic allies thoughtfully prepared to support your experience. We begin with 10–20 minutes to connect over warm herbal tea and create space for you to share your intentions, your relationship with your body and menstrual cycle, and anything you may currently be navigating that you would like to bring into the session. From there, I will leave the room and you will be invited to undress to your level of comfort and settle onto the massage table beneath cozy cotton sheets. When I return, I will guide you through a brief grounding meditation to support you in arriving more fully into your body and the experience. Before beginning, I will check in and ask for your consent to lay hands on your body and work with your energy field.Depending on the offering you are receiving, hands-on care may include the jaw, breasts, abdomen, womb, and pelvic area, with high-quality oils used throughout the experience. All touch is consent-based and guided by the pace and responses of your body.During the session, I may invite you into deeper breathing or audible exhales to support your experience. You are also welcome to verbally process whenever an emotion, memory, sensation, or feeling arises that you would like to share. There is never a requirement to speak—you are equally welcome to rest quietly and simply receive. Throughout the session, I hold the space with reverence, presence, and care.At the end of our hands-on time, you will be given space to rest and integrate before slowly getting dressed. We will close together over more herbal tea and refreshments, with time for you to share anything from your experience if you wish. Each session also includes an optional 20-minute integration call, available afterward should you desire additional space to reflect on your experience.
Each Wild Rose offering meets you at a different depth and point of focus. The best place to begin depends on what is calling for your attention and the kind of experience you feel ready to receive.Rose Womb Wellness may be right for you if…you're feeling called to deepen your relationship with your womb, menstrual cycle and are seeking a more focused introduction to Wild Rose care. This experience centers intentional hands-on care of the jaw, abdomen, and womb, offering space to soften, reconnect, and receive without entering into breast or intimate care.Wild Rose Restoration may be right for you if…you're longing for a more immersive experience of being tended to and deeply receiving. This offering expands beyond the womb to include care of the jaw, breasts, abdomen, and womb, with spacious time for relaxation, connection, and restoration.Awakened Rose Pelvic Ceremony may be right for you if…you've already established a foundation through Wild Rose and feel called to deepen your relationship with your intimate anatomy through consent-based, body-led care. This experience may include tending to the inner thighs, groin, pubic mound, perineum, and vulva, with the possibility of internal vaginal care when there is clear desire, readiness, and consent. Awakened Rose is reserved for returning clients who have received at least two previous Wild Rose sessions, or those who have spoken with me directly about whether this offering is an appropriate next step. You don't have to know with absolute certainty before booking. If you're feeling drawn to this work but aren't sure where to begin, you're always welcome to reach out and we can explore together which offering feels most supportive for where you are.
Hands-on care is rooted in touch, attunement, and presence. A variety of massage-like techniques are used to tend to areas of the body holding tension and invite greater relaxation, softness, and connection with the body. As physical tension softens, emotional or energetic experiences may also arise and are welcomed with care and presence.Hands-on care is also infused with Reiki energy healing, offering another layer of support for relaxation, energetic balance, and overall wellbeing. The pace and quality of touch are responsive to your body, with an emphasis on listening rather than forcing or trying to create a particular outcome.
Every session begins by asking permission before I lay hands on your body or work with your energy field. Consent is ongoing throughout the entire experience and is never assumed simply because a particular area of the body is included in the intention of the session.I will always check in before touching more intimate areas of the body, including the breasts, womb, and pelvic area, and continue checking in throughout the session about how the touch is feeling and whether any adjustments are needed.Clients are also given both verbal and nonverbal ways to pause or stop touch at any time. In addition to simply saying “pause” or “stop,” you can tap my hand once to pause or twice to stop. If you choose to stop, I will remove my hands completely and we will take a breath and check in before deciding together whether or how to continue. You are always welcome to change your mind. A yes at one point in the session does not mean yes for the rest of the session, and nothing needs to happen for your experience to be complete or successful.
During your session, you will be invited to undress either completely or down to your underwear, depending on your comfort and the offering you are receiving. You will always have privacy while undressing and time to settle in before we begin. For an Awakened Rose Pelvic Ceremony, being fully undressed is encouraged to allow for greater ease and continuity throughout the experience, though your comfort and consent remain at the center of the session. On the day of your session, feel free to wear anything that feels spacious and comfortable. I recommend avoiding tight jeans, fitted tops, or anything that may feel restrictive or uncomfortable when getting dressed again afterward.
Throughout the session, blankets and draping are available for warmth, comfort, and coverage whenever desired.
You are welcome to receive both Rose Womb Wellness and Wild Rose Restoration while menstruating, and your session can always be adapted based on how you are feeling that day.Awakened Rose Pelvic Ceremonies are not offered while menstruating or experiencing vaginal bleeding. If you begin bleeding before your scheduled ceremony, we will simply reschedule your session for another time.During pregnancy, sessions may be adapted to support this season of your body. Hands-on womb and abdominal care are not offered at any stage of pregnancy, and the session will instead focus on other areas of care that are appropriate for you.Additional considerations apply during the third trimester, particularly as you approach your due date, as certain forms of touch used within this work may not be appropriate until the body and pregnancy are ready for labor. Please let me know that you are pregnant before booking so we can determine whether a session is appropriate and how the experience should be adapted.Postpartum sessions may be received once you are at least six weeks postpartum and postpartum bleeding has stopped. Depending on your birth, recovery, or any complications, we may choose to allow additional healing time or ask that you consult with your healthcare provider before receiving hands-on care.If you are experiencing an active infection, unexplained pain or bleeding, recovering from a recent surgery or procedure, or navigating a health condition that may affect your session, please reach out before booking. Certain circumstances may require us to modify or postpone the experience or ask that you consult with your healthcare provider first. If you're ever unsure whether this work is appropriate for you, you are warmly welcome to reach out before booking.
Wild Rose sessions are held with deep care for consent, choice, communication, and moving at the body's pace. This work can be deeply supportive in cultivating a new relationship with touch, receiving, and your own body, especially where there have been difficult or violating experiences in the past.Depending on your individual history and where you are in your healing process, it may be supportive to have worked with a qualified therapist or other trauma-trained professional before or alongside this work. Wild Rose is not a substitute for trauma therapy, but can offer a supportive space for exploring touch, receiving, boundaries, and connection with the body. You are always welcome to slow down, change your mind, modify what we are doing, or stop at any point during a session.Ultimately, you are the authority on your own experience, and I encourage each woman to discern whether this work feels like an appropriate next step in her healing journey.
My work is informed by more than a decade of study and practice across yoga, energy healing, holistic wellness, embodiment, and the feminine healing arts. I am a trained Reiki Master Practitioner and Yoga Teacher, and this energetic and embodied understanding of the body forms part of the foundation of my practice.I am also certified through The Rose Lineage ministry as a Venusian Rose Temple Arts Practitioner, where I trained in ceremonial feminine care and hands-on practices for tending the breasts, abdomen, womb, jaw, and pelvis. The Rose Lineage was developed by my teacher, Shona Keeli, and draws from her background in Traditional Tantra, Gnostic study, bodywork, and the feminine healing arts.I am additionally trained as a Holistic Health Coach and Birth Doula, which informs my understanding of women's wellbeing, cyclical experiences, and the different seasons of a woman's life.My scope of practice is to offer consent-based, attuned hands-on care and create space for women to deepen their relationship with their bodies in restorative and supportive ways. I am not a licensed massage therapist, medical provider, or psychotherapist, and Wild Rose sessions are not intended to diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions or replace care from a licensed healthcare professional. When something falls outside of my scope, I will always encourage you to seek support from an appropriately qualified practitioner.
Sessions take place in the comfort and privacy of your own home. I will come to you with everything needed for your experience, including a massage table and all session materials. Before your session, take a moment to consider where in your home you would feel most comfortable receiving. Some women prefer the privacy of their bedroom, while others enjoy receiving in a living room or another quiet common space. Ideally, choose an area where we will have enough room to comfortably set up the massage table and where you can relax without interruption.
You’ll be asked to share your session address when booking, along with any parking or access information I may need.
